[ns] query regarding NAM,CMU, and new trace files

Hi!I am working on a project using ns-2 for which I need to understand and
interpret the ns trace file.I am unable to understand certain components
of the trace file.The destination (-d) field in the NAM trace takes
negative values at regular intervals.What do these negative values
indicate? Similarly,I also found trace files for wireless networks that
had huge values or negative values for the next hop (-Hd) field.How do I
interpret these values?
