[ns]ns 2.1b5 problem on fragmentation/reassembly code installation.

Hi,all NS people,i am just a beginner.
My ns2.1b5 (on Linux redhat 6.2)can't support fragmentation/reassembly. So I
go http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Personal/L.Wood/ns/
and download sar0699.tar.gz then i install it as follow
copy sar.h sar.cc pass.h packet.h to ns-2.1b5/
copy ns-packet.tcl ns-default.tcl to ns-2.1b5/tcl/lib
then i add 
     sar.o pass.o \
in the OBJECT .... of the file ns-2.1b5/Makefile;
and make depend ,make ;
i can pass these make with some warning .
but after make,my ns can't work;
when i type "ns tclfile.tcl",then output many line like a tcl script,and not
work;
who can tell why?
By the way, 2.1b8 support fragmentation/reassembly?
