Hi.
I would like to know if anybody in the mailing list has a pointer
to a good technical description of the TCP package (called Turbo-Internet)
used in the one-way satellite link used by DirecPC ?
I read somewhere that the DirecPC Network Operation Center (NOC)
was returning ACKs to the web server visited by the user when the data
transmitted by the web server was reaching the DirecPc NOC, not the end
user. (i.e., spoofing is used in their system). Any details about how it
is done exactly ?
Is the dial-up return path used at all to carry TCP segments in
that configuration ? Or is all the TCP data that enters the user's PC
comes from the dish ?
Thanks in advance for any answers and/or pointers.
