I know some of you read the November BYTE Magazine article "Fiber in the
Sky", which had a few flaws, but in general wasn't bad. The new (January)
issue has a letter to the Editor about it (p. 17) that refers to the
infamous LA Times article and (IMHO) a somewhat confusing response by the
BYTE West Coast Bureau Chief.
It might be worth sending a note to BYTE clarifying the issue, identifying
this list and describing the work y'all have done during the past year
(e.g. the draft). Just a thought.
Cheers,
Eric
PS- I'm too lazy to re-type it here, but I suppose could send one or two
faxes.
