Why don't consider 'RTT' ?
I think that it is a critical factor at Satellite network.
For example, if RTT value is very small then throughput doesn't depend on
initial window size.
In other words, slow-start period is very short in both (increased initial
window and 1 segment).
I think that increasing TCP's initial window intends to improve performance
during slow-start.
To adapt it to Satellite links we'd better consider RTT, I think.
