be careful about E1 and north america.

i pulled an E1 into canada, and had serious difficulties getting inter-urban
E1 transit.

we had to use an inverse MUX and 2 T1's in order to send it across the city.

check with your provider in the US and make sure they know that an E1 is
2Mb, as well as typically using G.703 signalling.

G.703 is not used much in north america.
