As I mentioned at the WG meeting last week, I have finished putting together
a web page on our Automatic TCP Buffer Tuning research.
http://www.psc.edu/networking/auto.html
Accessible from the page are a presentation I gave on this in February,
a paper that will appear in Sigcomm'98, and code for NetBSD 1.2.
(I expect that NetBSD 1.3 code will soon be available thanks to Tim Shepard.)
For those who were not able to attend the meeting, the relevance of this
work to TCP over Satellites is that the socket buffers of the sender and
receiver automatically adjust to the network path so that hand-tuning
for performance is not necessary.
