New Research Issues I-D

I submitted a new version of the research issues draft this
morning... Among the more drastic changes:

    -a better section on satellite network architectures
    -Jeff Semke contributed a section on forward acknowledgments
    -John Heidemann contributed a section on rate-based pacing

And, some tweaking to the following sections:

    -sharing state amongst connections
    -header compression

I have gotten a couple of volunteers since the IETF meeting, but the
following sections are still not claimed. If you're interested
please speak up!

    -Explicit Congestion Notification
    -Detecting Corruption Loss

Comments are always appreciated, please send them to the list or
directly to me if you wish.

The new version of the I-D should show up in the archive in the next
couple of days. Until then it is available at the following URL:
