I met some of the people at a satcom meeting at Lewis earlier this year.
Looks impressive. They are looking for opportunities to field-test it.

BTW, there was some discusion at the meeting about user-transparent gateway
schemes like this. Expert panelists offered opinions that it was a fine
idea if one side of the gateway pair was a leaf network, that is, it had
only the gateway-mediated satcom link to the Internet. Else, some
panelists thought, asymmetric routing could play havoc with information
hidden in inter-gateway transmissions. There wasn't unanimity on the
issue, however. Sorry, but I don't recall any of the details.
