Pedro, If you don't already have one, a good start would be to get a
copy of the AIX Performance Tuning Guide from your local IBM sales rep.
It covers tuning the parameters you mentioned below for general network
performance improvement. You definitely want to turn rfc1323 on (I
believe the default is off.) You will also want to increase
tcp_sendspace, tcp_recvspace, sb_max, xmt_que_size and rec_que_size.
