    Hello,
    --------
as I found several virusses in files attached to emails in our mailling list I have installed
a Linux/FreeBSD virusscanner on our mailserver. We are using "Mc Affee", but there are
more virusscanner avaiable for LINUX/UNIX. There is a very good integration for the postfix
mailserver via the build in content_filter command. For full integration we are using the amavis package.
These are set of perl tools to prepeare email content to be checked by virus scanners.

    http://www.amavis.org

Now our postfix mail server blocks every virus infected email for incoming and outgoing emails.
It is probably a solution for our mailing list because you are using postfix as well ??

    Many regards

    Olaf Menzel
