ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Organised since 1999, the International Workshop on Distributed Computing
(IWDC) is a forum for presenting the latest research findings on the use of
distributed / networked systems for effective computing. IWDC 2002 is the
fourth workshop in this series. The aim of this workshop is to present the
design and implementation techniques for various aspects of distributed
computing for researchers and practitioners. The workshop will cover all the
facets of distributed computing including theories and applications.
The topics of interest include but not limited to:
�	Real Time and Embedded Systems
�	Network Security
�	Distributed Objects and Algorithms
�	Mobile Systems and M-Commerce
�	Web-Based Computing and Learning
�	Language Translators for Distributed Environment
�	Fault-Tolerance and Reliability
In IWDC 2002 special emphasis would be given to Real-Time Embedded Systems
and Network Security.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Manuscript in Times New Roman 10 points and not exceeding ten A4 size pages
(including tables, figures and bibliography) to be submitted on any aspect
of distributed computing including but not confined to the areas listed above.
Separate cover page should bear the title of the paper, five keywords
(preferably with at least one keyboard from the listed topics) and complete
affiliation of each author along with email address, fax and telephone numbers.
The manuscript (apart from the cover page) will contain only the title of the
paper, abstract and details of the work undertaken. Name of the communicating
author should be indicated clearly. Electronic submission (DOC/PS/PDF format)
is strongly encouraged. Submissions are to be sent as attachments to:

corresponding paper is accepted.

STUDENT PAPER CONTEST:
IWDC 2002 has an entire session exclusively reserved for presentation of
innovative works from full-time students of recognized Institutions.
Submission for this "Student Session" should be based on the workshop topics.
The title page must include the words "Student Paper". The paper may
have several co-authors but the fulltime student must be the first author.
Submissions (following above guidelines) are to be sent as attachments to:

At least one author must register and present the paper, if the corresponding
paper is accepted. This submission should accompany a certification from the
Head of the Department authenticating the author as a full-time student of
the Institute.
