I Concurso de Tesis en Telem�tica
El II Congreso Internacional de Telem�tica, CITEL 2002, convoca al I Concurso de Tesis en Telem�tica con los objetivos de estimular la expansi�n al marco internacional de los resultados y las experiencias obtenidas en la soluci�n de problemas por parte de las universidades e instituciones empresariales, propiciar un ambiente de competencia y excelencia en la presentaci�n e intercambio de los logros en el campo de la Telem�tica y reconocer el trabajo y los frutos de los planes de formaci�n de pregrado y postgrado.
En este concurso se otorgar� un premio y una menci�n en cada una de las categor�as establecidas seg�n el nivel para el cual fueron desarrollados los trabajos e investigaciones aceptados.
Las posibles categor�as de concurso son las siguientes:
� Tesis de Doctorado
� Tesis de Maestr�a
� Tesis de Especialidad de Postgrado
� Trabajo Final de Diplomado
� Tesis de Grado de Ingenier�a o Licenciatura
El trabajo que se desarrolla en direcci�n a las soluciones y aportes ante las diferentes problem�ticas puede ser de mucho inter�s para la comunidad de profesionales e intelectuales que se desarrollan en el tema de la Telem�tica, tanto en esferas educativas como en la producci�n.
Se recomienda adjuntar avales y constancias que aporten elementos sobre el valor social y de aplicaci�n de las investigaciones presentadas.

1st Thesis Contest in Telematics
The 2nd International Telematic Congress (CITEL 2002) with the purpose of stimulating the expansion to international spaces of the results and the experiences obtained in the solution of problems by the universities and managerial institutions it is summoning the 1st Thesis Contest in Telematic.
This competition has as main objectives to propitiate a competition and excellence atmosphere in the presentation and exchange of the achievements in the field of the Telematic, and to recognize the work and the results of pre-graduate and graduate formation plans.
In this activity it will be granted a prize and a mention in each one of the established categories according to the level for which the works and accepted investigations were developed.
The possible competition categories are the following:
� Thesis of Doctorate
� Thesis of Master
� Thesis of Specialty of Graduate degree.
� Final Work of Graduate
� Thesis of Grade of Engineering or Degree
The work that is developed related with the solutions and contributions to the different problems can be of a lot of interest for the community of professionals and intellectuals that are developed in the topic of the Telematic, as much in educational spheres as in the production.
It is recommended to attach to the theses the records of the Thesis Defense as well as the guarantees that can contribute to the social value and of application of the presented investigations.
