Abdul Qadeer

I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at University of Southern California (USC). My adviser is John S. Heidemann. It is an interesting coincidence that before joining USC, I was working on some MIPS virtualzation problems and John's PhD adviser Gerald Popek was one of the pioneer to formally define system level virtualization, famously known as Popek & Goldberg Theorem. My research interests span the following areas:

(1) Distributed Systems

(2) Computer Networks

(3) Operating Systems

(4) Computer Architecture

I am currently working on making big-data streaming analytic more efficient in multi-user environment.
