Spring 2014: CSCI551 Computer Communications

This is a first-year graduate class in computer networking. It discusses the communication protocols with emphasis on conceptual design issues and implementation of computer internetworks.

It will give you a deeper understanding of networking technologies and expose you to classic and contemporary literature on the subject through paper reading and discussions.

A major component of the class is programming. The assignments and the project will provide a deeper understanding of the challenges in building networked and distributed systems.
