I-LENSE

ISI Laboratory for Embedded Networked Sensor Experimentation

I-LENSE a research group at ISI examining the area of sensor networking. Our work has grown out of the networking part of sensor networking, but the challenges in this area cover the spectrum from hardware construction (sensors, plaforms, and radios), MAC-layer protocols, networking protocols, data transport protocols, and applications.

I-LENSE collaborates closely with researchers at USC and UCLA (see our people page for details) and is part of CENS, the Center for Embedded Networked Sensors. I-LENSE has been supported by DARPA, NSF, METRANS, Intel, Northrup Grumman, and ChevronTexaco.
