[ns] Wired nodes in the mixed networks

Hi,

while creating wired nodes in a wireless-cum-wired
networks, it writes:

for {set i 0} {$i<$num_wired_nodes} {incr i} {
    set W($i) [$ns_ node [lindex $temp $i]]
}

what does "lindex $temp $i" meab here...?
