[ns] "$ns run" works so slow...

Hi.

I made a 100-node transit-stub topology using GT-ITM.
And I generate a large amount of traffic(www,ftp,telnet, cbr) randomly in
300 seconds.

The time to set up the topology is not much.
But executing the "$ns run"  spends so much time. (more than 3 hours)

For memory saving, I didn't use  any 'tracing' and make '.nam'.

I have to simulate many scenarios and don't have much time.
Please help me.

How can I reduce a simulation time?
I am in urgent.
