default list scheduler?

Greetings
    Although I am only using ns2.lb2, I have noticed that the default
scheduler is not the List
Scheduler, but the Calendar Scheduler.  Is there any way  to change the
default values besides explicitly stating what scheduler you desire in
the tcl code?  Thank you very much for your time.
