[ns] CBR/UDP

hey all!

i am trying to look at the utilization for an MANET.

i have a simple set up of:

2
3	1	0
4

2,3 and 4 send to 0, but have to be forwarded through 1. 2,3, and 4
cannot talk to 0 directly.

in the tcl file, i am to set the packet size and the rate, but there are
not any units associated with these. since i am getting some weird
results, i wanted to make sure i was thinking the right things...

if the packet size is set to 64, i am guessing that is bytes.

the sample in the manual has the rate set to 48Kb. is that 48 Kbits/sec?
Kbytes/sec?

also, to get the total amount of data received at 0, i am summing up the
-Il field from the trace file which is listed as the packet size. this
again i am guessing to be in bytes.

it seems to be a simple problem, but i am only getting about 9 Kbytes/sec
on a 1Mb/sec link, and that is the maximum that i seem to get.

if anyone has an idea on what is going on, that would be GREATLY
appreciated!!!

thanks!
