The same happened to me with same version nam and Solaris 2.7
If you remove the orientation orders from the nam or tcl file, then it
will
work.
I don't know why it happens, it is perfectly OK with SUSE, but I had to
work on Solaris, so I have just stick to the ns-allinone -2.1b7a.
