Catalina

Overview

The Catalina robot is an AUV fully equipped with a number of on-board devices for underwater navigation and precision control, including 2 computers, 3 motors, 2 cameras, 2 lights, 1 IMU, 1 depth sensor and 1 compass. The on-board batteries can support >50 minutes operation time. The body has been tested in ocean near Catalina Island as a ROV and can operate safely at 300 feet deep

Monitor ecology systems in shallow and deep water.
