[ns] question about the nominal range in wireless network

Hi ns-users:

In the CUM implementation, the network interface is `NetIf/SharedMedia' and the
nomial range is 250m.

In the ns2, from the tutorial eaxmple, it is Phy/WirelessPhy. Does anybody know
if the nomial range is 250m, too?

Because as posted early, I found in the trace file, the actual hop count is
less than the optimal count.  If the nomial range in ns2 is bigger than in cmu,
it could happen.
