The fact that Kacheong Poon <[email protected]> stated that
fact does not seem to impress you? ;-)

Anyway: yes, it's a fact (see e.g. page 2-3 of the "SMCC Information
Library Solaris 2.6"), and I'm using it to great effect over a satellite
link simulator.

New ndd parameters related to this are tcp_wscale_always (if set, always
send wscale option even when using small windows), tcp_tstamp_if_wscale
(if set, only send timestamp option if wscale option is set),
tcp_tstamp_always (if set, always send timestamp option).
