Dear Sat friends,
After 1.5 day modifying everything i still have window sizes of 9k and 23kB/s transfer rate with FTP and a tcp test tool.
My server is a NT4 and the client is 95.
Is there anyone out there who ever got this running?
Is the aplication limiting the windowsize?
Server client
NT4--satellite(10meg)---95
return channel is a phone line
Using a simulator gives almost the same results.
NT4(sp3) is having winsock2 in it's registry, but i am not sure it's working on 2.
95 is having winsock2 installed.
Both machines have tcpwindowsize registry entries changed as specified in www.psc.edu/networking/perf_tune and microsoft Q182108 Q120642
Please let me know if you got one of both machines working.
