On the steering committee for the workshop series on Usable Security. Check out the call for 2013, in Okinawa (submissions due November 16th). Co-organized the 2012 Workshop on Usable Security at the conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security: check out our great program - and the book is out soon!

I co-organized a workshop at AAAI 2005 on planning and scheduling for web services, Grid and autonomic computing. This follows on from two successful workshops at ICAPS, one that I organized in 2004 and one that Jose Luis Ambite organized in 2003.

I was poster session chair for ICAPS 05, treasurer for K-CAP 05 and on the senior program committee for AAAI 05. I am speaker chair for the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges, Southwestern Region, as in 2011. I previously served on program committees for AAAI, IJCAI, ICAPS, AIPS, EWSP, K-CAP, IUI, UAI and others. I was co-chair of the Workflow management research group in the Global Grid Forum.

In fall 2002 I taught Artificial Intelligence Planning, along with Yolanda Gil and Jose Luis Ambite. (I taught this course in Fall 2000 with Yolanda and Jon Gratch and in Fall 98 with Craig Knoblock.)
