Helping asSURE outstanding Research Experiences!

The 2022 SERC Team
SERC 2022 SURE Student Team and Mentors

Viterbi’s summer 2022 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) project brought in 45 students from all over the Nation for a unique research experience at USC this summer.  The SERC was honored to host 9 of these outstanding scholars from around the country and integrate them into our summer projects!  Each of the students were assigned to an existing hands on or analysis project and worked with other USC undergraduate and graduate students on a variety of topics, from soft robotics, sensor fusion, air bearing operations, advanced inertial to relative navigation, lunar lander structures and other advanced project tasks.  The students not only participated in the research but became integral to the teams and each had specific research objectives to accomplish.  At the end of the Summer the SURE program invited all the students who participated to create a separate poster and encouraged mentors, outside students and faculty to peruse and challenge them on their work.

So a big THANK YOU to all of our SERC Students, it was an honor to have supported each of you on your amazing journey into the engineering Space…!
