This forum will highlight the rapidly growing aerospace sector of small satellites (satellites under 1,100 lbs) which is revolutionizing the industry by making spaceflight and extra-atmospheric observations more affordable and accessible to researchers, universities and businesses.

Nine UK companies participated with 4 US companies in discussions and collaborations in new space development and business opportunities.

Held on August 3rd, 14 students completed over 11 projects.

This summer, our team of undergraduate interns will work with USC’s Prof. David Barnhart to design a small satellite that could aid in situational awareness for DARPA’s satellite servicing missions.
