“The talk around AI replacing us is the most misunderstood concept in AI”
Adam Russell, AI/nthropologist and Director of the AI Division at the USC Information Sciences Institute (ISI), is on a journey to help build a better world with AI. He interviews the ISI humans behind AI to understand what motivates them, how they shape AI today, and where they hope AI will go.
Justin Cho, a Research Assistant at ISI, explains why he’d consider himself a “global citizen.” He asks Adam what it’s been like introducing his children to AI, and discusses the process of getting used to upcoming technology while growing up. He explores why science fiction films contributed to his interest in AI and why learning about the creative process behind a recent film series inspired him.
