Lihui (Shirley) Xiong is a master’s student in Communication Data Science, a joint program between the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. She holds a B.S. in Business Economics from the University of California, San Diego. Her interdisciplinary background combines communication, data science, and business, with interests in digital communication, data analytics, and content creation. Shirley serves as a Community Outreach Coordinator for the SPHERE Research Infrastructure at the USC Information Sciences Institute (ISI). In this role, she supports outreach and community engagement through website and social media content, event promotion, outreach materials, and multimedia communications that help highlight SPHERE’s capabilities, resources, and impact.
