Giving to ISI
ISI relies on philanthropic support to advance its mission of innovation that began with seminal contributions to the Internet (then known as ARPANET) and expanded into numerous other research areas, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and microelectronics.
Annual unrestricted gifts are crucial to help fill the gap in funding to transform novel, innovative concepts into high-yielding research. Even a small gift can make a huge difference. Gifts can support ISI researchers to work on radically new problem areas, fund ISI students to attend conferences or invite guest speakers, or make improvements to ISI facilities and infrastructure for everyone in the institute.
Gifts to USC ISI are tax-deductible. The institute is part of USC’s tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
