Shawn is the administrative assistant to Dr. Carl Kesselman, the director of the Informatic Research Systems Division (ISRD) at the Information Sciences Institute in Marina del Rey, a unit of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.  ISRD pursues a broad research agenda focused on creating new types of sociotechnical systems that enable and accelerate discovery in domains of high societal impact.
