Multifunctional Optical Logic Gates Based on Ring Modulators and Photoconductive Diodes
Abstract
We experimentally demonstrate a multifunction optical logic gate using a ring modulator driven by reverse-biased photodiodes, achieving Gbps operation. The design supports multiple reconfigurable logic functions and is fabricated in a commercial silicon photonics foundry.
