The Pegasus planner is bundled with Chimera and shipped as the GriPhyN Virtual Data System (VDS).

Pegasus has two different releases:
    ▪ a production release that provides a stable basis for everyday deployment The latest version is 1.2.14 (as of 10/12/04)
    ▪ a developmental release that has the latest, yet not fully tested features. The latest developmental release is 1.3.3 (as of 10/12/04)
