In his role Director of Human Resources for ISI, Derek will implement HR strategies focusing on talent attraction, talent development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Derek joined ISI from Thermo Fisher Scientific where he was Vice President, Human Resources for Global IT and R&D. In addition to being the HR business partner for the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Scientific Officer, he led the Talent workstream of the company’s Digital Transformation initiative. In addition to Thermo Fisher, he has had HR leadership roles at eBay, Bausch & Lomb and GE Capital. Derek holds a MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California and a BA in Communication Arts and Sciences from USC.
