The broad and diverse customer base and application space served by specialty foundries is driving a very high-level of process technology innovation and design enablement. In contrast to digital foundries focusing on limited F.o.Ms such as speed, power and die-size, this diversity accelerates the development of differentiated technology platforms optimized for specialized requirements. In this talk we review key Specialty Foundry technology platforms across RF, BCD, and Silicon Photonics. It also highlights advanced design enablement solutions that leverage close coupling between process technology, device models, and EDA tooling. Together, these innovations enable faster time to market, improved design predictability, and enhanced yield for specialty integrated circuits.
