Abstract

At TREC-2003, TextMap participated in the Main task, which encompassed answering the following types of questions:
• factoid questions;• list questions;• definition questions. In this paper, we overview the architecture of the TextMap system and report its performance, as evaluated by the NIST assessors, on each of these tracks.
