Abstract

This special issue gathers extended and revised versions of selected papers presented at the 15th International Conference on Parallel Processing and Applied Mathematics, PPAM 2024, held on September 8-11, 2024, in Ostrava, Czechia (https://ppam. edu. pl). This conference is a continuation of events that started in 1994. They have been held every 2 years in different universities in Poland and other countries. PPAM conferences aim to exchange ideas between researchers involved in parallel and distributed computing, as well as applied and computational mathematics. PPAM 2024 was primarily an in-person event. However, the organizers made provisions for authors and delegates to present, attend, and interact online.
